About Us

Established in 1965 we manage over 600 projects each year

A true family-run business, B&K Passmore Ltd was first established in 1965 by husband and wife team, Brian and Kathleen Passmore, who ran the business from their home before purchasing their first showroom in 1970.

Originally established as a bathroom company, the business portfolio and service offering expanded at the same rate as the company.

For a number of years B&K Passmore Ltd worked in partnership with a building company known as HB Broadbent. In 2004, the Passmore family bought the company which is now known as More Build.

In 2011, the company relocated to their current Head Office in Wortley, Leeds, where they boost a 2000 sqft Bathroom Showroom to showcase their wide range of high quality bathroom products and designs.

When Brian and Kathleen retired in 2005, the leadership of the company was handed to their two sons, Steve and Tony Passmore. Both have worked in the business since leaving school, and work with determination to ensure that their parents' core values of honesty, integrity and trust continue to resonate through every aspect of the company's offering.

In 2012, the company was re-branded and is now known as Passmore Group, with three sub-divisions; More Build, More Bathrooms and More Ability.

More Build offers a complete building solutions service.

More Bathrooms offers a complete bathroom design, supply and installation service.

More Ability offers a complete bathroom solutions service, specialising in bathroom adaptations and alterations for those with additional physical needs, the retired, elderly and disabled, helping people to achieve independent living.

Our mission is to restore the customer’s faith in relation to home improvements and building solutions by offering and delivering a professional, trustworthy, honest and reliable service from start to finish.

Our vision is to become Yorkshire's number one complete building solution company covering all the major building trades, with a reputation built upon the quality of the work we carry out and the services we offer.

Our 6 values:

2. Quality: "We always try to exceed our customers' expectations and provide a first class experience every time."

3. Professional: "We will always be courteous and helpful, continuously seeking to achieve the highest standards."

4. Dependable: "We will be there when we say we will, do what we say we will and do it when we said we would."

5. Reputable: "We acknowledge we are only as good as our last job so we will make that job our best but make our next job better."

6. Expertise: "We won't do it better; we will do it the best."

Most recently in 2018, and following the successful acquisition 12-months prior, we expanded our Harrogate Showroom and introduced More Ability to the area, in order to provide a safe and stylish bathroom solution for local residents. Following extensive renovations the existing 3,000 sq.ft. space now also showcases stylish yet accessible bathrooms, which aim to improve the independence of over 65’s and the less-able.

In 2017 Passmore Group, home of More Bathrooms, More Ability & More Build, continued there success with the acquisition of Charms Bathrooms of Harrogate, a move that sought to save jobs and preserve the 100-year old legacy of the bathroom retail company.

Commenting on the deal, Tony Passmore, said: “Charms is similarly a family-run brand synonymous with trust, quality and integrity, so the fit into our stable of companies was perfect. We look forward to bringing 50 years of installation expertise to the table – especially for some of Charms’ clientele who may have previously used the company for ‘supply only’ bathroom purchases.” you can read more about the acquisition here.

Although Passmore Group primarily offers bespoke and main stream bathroom solutions and building services across the Yorkshire region, the company also carry out work in the public sector for local authorities and schools across the North of England.
